Yarn kit for Zenia Sweater in Önling No 1 (no pattern)

Zenia Sweater is beautiful sweater featuring a classic pattern from Siersknit. Zenia has a relaxed fit, a high round neckline in twisted rib, and a graphic motif made up of raised lines that intersect. The sweater is worked from the top down.

Here we knit Zenia Sweater in Önling No 1, our premium merino and angora blend, resulting in a warm and fabulously soft sweater.

Please note: This kit does not include a pattern. You can buy the English pattern at Siersknit

4 removable stitch markers and one BOR marker
Stitch holders or waste yarn

Gauge 21 sts × 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4 in) in motif pattern after washing and blocking. Recommended needle size: 4 mm (US 6) for the main fabric and 3,5 mm (US 4) for rib edges.

Procedure:
First, cast on stitches for the back, then work back and forth with short rows to shape the upper back while knitting the pattern. Next, stitches are picked up for the right and left shoulder, which are worked separately. The shoulders are joined to form the front by casting on stitches for the front. The front and back are then joined while casting on stitches under the arm. The body is finished with a twisted rib hem.
The sleeve stitches are picked up, the pattern from the front and back and along the sides of the body are extended onto the sleeve, and decreases are worked along the sleeve underside. The sleeve is finished with a twisted rib cuff. The sweater is designed with a positive ease of 19–23 cm (7½–9 in).

Please note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout.
