Here we knit the cowl in Önling No 1, our premium merino and angora blend, resulting in a exquisite and soft cowl with a beautiful color pattern!

Color A: 50(100) g / 1(2) balls Önling No 1, 75% merino wool, 25% angora, 50 g = approx. 197 yards (180 meters), weight: DK / Worsted

Color B: 50(50) g / 1(1) ball Önling No 1, 75% merino wool, 25% angora, 50 g = approx. 197 yards (180 meters), weight: DK / Worsted

Worked with one strand throughout.

Recommended circular needles size 3 and 4 mm / US 2.5 and 6, 60 cm / 24 inches (used with the magic loop method for knitting small circumferences)

Gauge 24 sts and 27 rows in color pattern on 4 mm / US 6 circular needle = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.

Procedure
The cowl is worked in the round on circular needles. You may use the magic loop method if working with a longer circular needle. Alternatively, it can be knitted using double-pointed needles (DPNs), if preferred. The cowl begins with a ribbed edge in the main color, continues in stranded colorwork following the chart, and is finished with another ribbed edge.
