A diagonally knitted vest with kimono sleeves. A beautiful vest with a nice 'roll lapel' effect. You can brighten up most outfits with this vest. Here we work it our light Önling No 2, and the result is an ultrasoft and cozy vest.

You work with one strand throughout. 

The basic color is the continuous stripe / edge color.
Contrast A is the contrast stripes in the bottom of the front piece and the collar.
Contrast B is the contrast stripes second from the bottom on the front piece and on the middle of the shoulder.
Contrast C is the contrast stripes across the chest

Recommended needles: Two circular needles 3 mm / US 2.5, length 80 cm / 32 inches
2 double pointed needles 3 mm / US 2.5

Gauge: 25 sts and 56 rows of Striped Texture Pattern on 3 mm / US 2.5 ndls = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

Procedure:
Duet vest is worked starting from the two slanted egdes of the front pieces. Afterwards the pieces are knitted together in the middle of the back and sleeves and collar are addes before the front piece and back piece are knitted together across the chest. An exciting construction that is well described and well illustrated in the knitting pattern.
