Work garter ridges along both sides as edges. And in every 7th stripe, knit a row of holes. The shawl is divided into 5 sections, separated by 4 ‘strands’, consisting of 2 sts each. Increases are made with different frequencies along the different strands and these increases are made with yarn overs forming fine holes.
